Arugula Blood Orange Salad & Blood Orange Poppy Seed Dressing

Continuing with our wonderful foray into Raw foods this month, I present to you the most natural of all RAW foods...The SALAD! I have to admit, I never really did like salad much in my younger years. Perhaps I was just never offered a salad worthy of my love, or maybe I just had yet to develop the 'taste' for it.

Present day though, I LOVE salad. I'll eat it just about

RAW Carrot Cake Balls (Vegan, RAW, Paleo, GAPS)

So I'm not really going to write much here since I know you're all going to "skip to the end' anyway so you can get to the chocolaty CAKE BALL goodness as quickly as possible...and I don't blame you!

I think that this might be the very first dessert that I made back when I first went gluten and grain free a little over a year ago. It was also the first sweet thing that I'd had in over 4

RAW Noodles & Veggies W/RAW Asian Pesto Sauce (Paleo, RAW, Vegan, GAPS)

So here we are...FINALLY; my very own "EAT MORE VEGGIES" month. (Thanks to all for your patience as I recovered from the flu). This month is my own personal quest to re-imagine that shared experience of every child's least favorite phrase. Chewy Grain Free Granola Bars: Sweet Coconut Curry

Mine ate them up about as fast as I could pull them

White wine & Pecan Cashew 'Cream' Cheese Ball (Dairy Free, Vegan, RAW)

Ok, here it is the mighty CHEESE BALL! A cashew cheese ball that is... and it IS awesome. It's dairy free and completely vegan. I have seasoned this one with crispy shallots, garlic and my personal favorite...dry white wine. (You could easily replace the wine with water if you prefer. White wine is GAPS friendly and some Paleo people have it in moderation)

I promise, you

What the KALE! (is a Kale chip?)

We all know that kale is good for you...and if pink is the new black, then kale is the new spinach. If Popeye The Sailor Man were around today he'd be eating, you guessed it! KALE. But no matter how cool Popeye was, kids everywhere STILL didn't want to eat their spinach. So how in the "KALE" do we think we'll get 'em to eat their mighty greens now?

answer: THE MIGHTY FINE

This curry sauce can be made raw or cooked. Both taste great! Try this over veggies, as a soup or if your diet allows, some sprouted brown rice.
